Anyone remember circling Broadcast Engineering or Broadcast Management/
Engineering bingo cards for product info from Miller-Stephenson
Chemical Corp... and then getting a surprise box filled with 16 oz.
freon based tape head cleaner, contact cleaner, degreasers and other
fine things.
I had a lot of boxes of cans showed up at my door. Of course, they had
no idea it was a 13-year old on the other end of the card!
The company is still in business http://www.miller-stephenson.com/
Is anyone using its "Media Head Cleaner?"
Trying now to remember what type of tape heads we were warned NOT to
spray freon onto, lest they shatter from the cold. Seem to think IVC
1" heads, among others.
