These are a low end as I call them TBC.  The quality will not be  the same 
as a full bandwidth TBC.  If you will note, the unit decodes the  video and 
then re-encodes it.  this is how they do the color  correction.  If you are 
doing a 3/4 tape, or a VHS it will look good.   But is you are doing a quad 
or full bandwidth tape, it will look soft.   That is because of the 2.5 MHz 
bandwidth.  
 
it is a good unit for the low end market.  I have used DPS before and  they 
work.  It is not the unit of choice for high end transfers.
 
You can go to the Leitch web site and probably get an instruction  manual.  
It should also have a feature comparison that shows all the  models.
