Larry Bloomfield has begun making the rounds with the Eighth Annual "Taste
of NAB" that gets interesting technology out to the grass-roots engineer
who couldn't attend NAB.

He's beginning tomorrow in Portland Oregon, with stops in Eugene and
Medford... then hitting the Bay Area in Napa, then Sacramento, and Grass Valley
before hitting Reno and then southern parts of California in late May and
early June.

Larry will be wending his way across the country region by region, making
a loop through the Southern states, up the Eastern Seaboard, then across
the Midwest, and ending in October back in the Montana-Washington-Idaho area.

The links have time, date, place and mappage. Also the door prizes you can
win.

If you have a chance to make one of these stops, tell him you heard about
it on the QuadList (and likely your local SBE or SMPTE groups.)

I may make the one in Grass Valley next week at Thompson (still) Grass
Valley.

Quad List member Tim Stoffel is hosting the Reno stop as President of SBE
Chapter 139.

If you were stuck in a booth (although happily stuck) and didn't get to
see the show, this may be a cool way to get a little hands on with some of the
technology that caught eyes in Vegas.

Hope you all are well and not too swamped.
