[QuadList] Splicer

Hi All
I took some snaps of my 2" Quad Splicer last weekend.
Here they are.
I have them in Hi rez if you want one mail me off list
There is some other bits of 2" Maint hardware a few of you will probably
remember

The Splicer details are 

Smiths 2" Video Tape Splicer
Model 8610 [or 8810]
S/N 820

The serial # is why I thought this particular splicer was interesting,
but I 
would guess that it was sometime into the quad era before Ampex sold the

rebadged Smith splicers.  Anyone know for sure?
