I can't help you with your Scanimate, but this is a very good question that I believe many of us are concerned with.  I hope I'll be around for a while to enjoy my quads and other toys, but then what?  Some of the pieces in the collection have been restored to excellent condition, or are even in relatively "new" original condition with little use, so they would make excellent candidates for preservation.....but by whom?

Let me know when you get settled in Asheville.  I'm only a little over an hour away.
