[QuadList] Help identifying an unknown Ampex Quad machine

Pat Shevlin could use the Intersync.

With all the video boards, it should be able to do low band mono, low band color and high band color.

It is a first generation transport. A 1000 with the transistor boards replacing the tube electronics. A "Frankenplex".

Is this an 1100?

When you tell him a refurbished head is $4k, he may donate it!

The machine is in a very dark area (sorry for the low quality of the pictures…I took them w/ my cell phone with almost no ambient light). It appears to me as if there are tubes in the upper left of the bridge…but the rest of the bridge is empty. The tray w/ the cards seems to be complete, but I could not see the back of the machine.
