This IS AMAZING!  What great workmanship plus an interesting slice  of  his 
 history.
 
 
 
Also good to see someone besides me  has a granite surface plate  in their 
workshop!
 
and he  found one of the tubes at the TRW swap meet!

It's a 15 minute documentary about a Japanese gentleman who has made a  
working, Iconoscope camera using a very old but good-condition Iconocsope tube  
and modern electronic circuits.


The documentary shows how good television might have looked—particularly  
in the studio—and when all parts of the system were working well.
