Hi Bill,

That's an interesting Compact Video story about that VR-3000/VR-1000 setup. Wish I could have seen it. Unfortunately that is not the machine in the picture. The answer is coming tonight. It does remind me of a story I was told last weekend over dinner by a friend who used to work at WJZ channel 13 in Baltimore. He told me they had a tape delay rig that recorded on a VR-1000 flat top feeding tape vertically to a VR-1200. I would have loved to have seen that in operation!
