[QuadList] Splicing 2" videotape question

Is the Tapejungle metallized polyester thin enough to use on a quad? I thought I saw it as 2.3 mil thick which seems pretty much.

I have a 2" audio splicing block if that will help.  
If you are just re-applying splicing tape to the video tape, the problem may be in finding the proper splicing tape. The metalized tape used for 3/4" may work but YMMV.
