Hello Steve and Roger,

For a Mark ten head panel,

The guide needs 35-40 inches of vacuum, and the air bearing head needs 58-60 psi. The tank pressure typically runs 100-130 psi, and regulate that down to 58 psi. That gives a good safe air reserve while the head is spinning.
It is a good idea to have a moisture trap and an oil trap in the line if you are using a cylinder type compressor instead of a carbon vane type.

I really want to get my VR1000C (w/all upgrades 1961) back in a nice 
run/show installation.

The airflow/vacuum part I had no training or knowledge of how it went on or 
how to "get it right.

I will follow this subject with you folks very closely.
