Hi, Steve,

New England Quads:
The folks in Boston who run the Museum of Broadcast Technology in Woonsocket, RI might be interested in helping. They have a collection of Quads.

Tom Sprague is the CTO, and heads National Boston, the post facility on Dummer St..

CBS (NYC) Retired Engineers luncheon next week:
If you wanted to make a trip to New Jersey next Thursday, the CBS Retired Engineers from the New York facilities are having their annual Luncheon.

There may well be some folks from the "Grand Central" days when the first Ampex VTR's were installed in 1956... and later.

I was planning to attend—I'll be in NYC from Monday through the Sunday before Memorial Day.

Unfortunately, the installation we're participating in now overlaps into Thursday so I can't go. :( !!!

I was hoping to meet some of the VT engineers who were involved with the early days of tape at CBS.

I know George Keller was planning to attend.

So maybe some NYC or Boston folks might want to make a vacation trip to Maine?

Ted
