This is the Digest of the QuadList.  Celebrating four years of Quad Conversations, July 25, 2012

Please change the subject line from "Digest" and Trim your post to JUST the relevant info when replying.  That prevents the entire digest from re-posting.

You can copy and paste or highlight  the desired material before hitting "reply" in most e-mail clients.

That will keep the entire digest and a bunch of headers with gobblydgook from being re-sent to the list.

Your subscribe, unsubscribe and digest options are at the bottom of the digest.

Thanks.

        I say:

This was about CCR, NOT a TV station.  "Continental Color Recording",
which as I recall was based in the New York area.  CCR provided the
remote unit for NBC's coverage of this baseball game on which I worked
in 1978.  This was a secondary, regional network game, not fed to the
full NBC Network.
Perhaps you were referring to the 'away' team's truck in the
background of this shot:
        <http://www.flickr.com/photos/dennisdegan/3238611613/>
But I was there, and that truck belonged to Boston's Channel 38,
WSBK.  Where did you get the idea that this was about WJBK?  WJBK was
never mentioned (or at least I never SAW it mentioned).

The caption on the flicker picture says WJBK.

I got some strange emails from one of the members that have nothing to do
with the list.

It may have been a hacker.

It's more likely to be a compromise of a personal account. than any
mailing list software.
