[QuadList] Mobile Color-MCI

Pat,

Now you have me thinking. I believe I have some sort of 2" gag reel where Bud Wilkinson and his co-hort was on an ABC NCAA (?) remote (MCI crew) and he is "surprised" when a female is brought into the booth to celebrate something. Were you part of that event?

Back to HS-100's. How many did MCI have? I think there was a 200 in Dallas with their VR's and AVR-2's.

Got to thinking--Now "Cams 1 through 12 are all up and good!". Then--"Red, Blue and Green on Cam 2 are all up and good". What a difference 40+ years makes!

> As I remember the story from Ridge Radney, the Norelco Sales Rep was fired when MCI said "we'll take 2 units". Norelco lost $$$ on the deal. Not sure if MCI ever made money with them either. Used the big truck as a control room for the Westpark Dr studio (cables running through a hole in the wall). Couldn't shut the studio down day before/day after a remote, so did College hoops from a Winnebago with John Crowe directing. I was Don Clagett's part-time V-2/trainee. $3.00 per hour.
