Pat - so much gets scrapped!

I understand there are a fraternity or alumni group of engineers that
worked at empire state building was hoping to hear from some of them
too!

now I do not feel sorry about missing NAB.

Wow, what a find. Would think very unusual.
In '67 or '68 while working as XMTR Op at University of Houston's KUHF
radio station, found the rolled of blueprints for the KNUZ-TV Ch 39 station
built in the very early 50's. Building later home to KUHT Channel 8, Houston
NET/PBS. Wish I had kept them, sure they were tossed.

Pat

This is the Digest of the QuadList. Celebrating four years of Quad
Conversations, July 25, 2012

Please change the subject line from "Digest" and Trim your post to JUST
the relevant info when replying. That prevents the entire digest from
re-posting.

You can copy and paste or highlight the desired material before hitting
"reply" in most e-mail clients.

That will keep the entire digest and a bunch of headers with gobblydgook
from being re-sent to the list.

Your subscribe, unsubscribe and digest options are at the bottom of the
digest.

Thanks.

Blueprints for the 1938 RCA Empire State TV antenna discovered at SMECC
Is it unusual to have these?

They were in a file box with the Brookhaven Cyclotron Blueprints.

they have been probably folded up since '38 I need to 'relax' the paper
but in the meantime have been transferred to the banks vault in case
this is the only set
around.

This would be the antenna used for 39 worlds fair historic
rollout eh?
