Hi Ted,

While you are at the modernized Wardman Park Hotel, why not some archeology?
Ask the management to let you into the basement which housed  the NBC 
Washington studio.
I do not know if it was in the single original wing of the hotel that 
survives.

If you find any rusty three-image orthicon cameras please let us know.

I was at that hotel for many Air Force Association and Air Traffic Control 
Association Conferences and never thought to ask.
