***SPAM*** Ampex Sign

My trip to the bay area this week reminded me to make a note of this campus.

For decades, this sign has alerted all passing along the 101 freeway to the manufacturing campus of many videotape products and the home to many talented individuals. That era has for the most part passed. Now this  weathered and faded icon appears to be the home to one happy family of birds.
