It was in the 47 West 66th Street complex in an area that was referred to as “Slant”. (Short for “Slant Track Editing” - which was originally to distinguish it from the Quad Tape facility.) The network news editing facility is still located in the same spot today, but it’s now known as the “DMC” - for Digital Media Center.
