[QuadList] Merlin ME-68 Quad dub deck from Vidtronics to be seen at LabGuy's World

Just browsing LabGuy's World where Richard Diehl has collected an  
amazing assortment of consumer, industrial and broadcast tape machines.

A recent (June 29, 08) acquisition is a Merlin Engineering ME 68 dub  
deck made for Vidtronics in 1977 from Shibaden SV-7000 Quad deck from  
Japan. Ten were made for the LA post house, and installed while the  
late Jack Callaway was Director of Engineering.

A big plus—historically—is the documentation Richard received from  
Merlin's John Streets, who is retiring and donated the deck to Richard.
