[QuadList] QuadList Digest, Vol 25, Issue 4

The NBC Quad editing of Churchill's funeral would have been a Copy Cat
strategy that should not have surprised the other networks, it had been done
before.

RCA had created a secret Flying film processing & editing Lab for Film
coverage of Elizabeth II's coronation in 1953. All the networks had planes &
film Processing plans, some in the UK & some back in NYC.. the race to Air

The plan was not known by anyone at NBC until a phone call sent a secret
crew of Film lab & Editors, along with senior producers to the Airport. The
Story was that even NBC finance was not to be trusted. production money was
borrowed

The England NBC crew did not know that film was been deliverd to the Plane &
the Proccessing & editing took place over the Atlantic.. The Edited film was
delivered & immeadiatly when to Air.

I am sure this info is known by the film groups
